Mission

Lifted Youth Ministry (grades 7 – 12) exists to REACH non-believing students with the Gospel, to CONNECT them with other believers, to help them GROW in their faith, to challenge them to DISCOVER their spiritual gifts and HONOR God with their life.

Values

God’s Word: 

Teens are at a very critical stage in their lives. Our desire for each student at Pleasant Valley is to have a firm foundation in Jesus Christ – to know Him, know His Word, know His Gospel – so that when troubles inevitably come, they will not be shaken.

Gospel-Centered Community: 

Our desire is to have a community of teens passionately pursuing intimacy with God, with their peers, and with their church family. We believe a tight-knit community allows for lasting friendships, a sense of belonging, accountability, and greater impact!

Explosive Spiritual Growth: 

We want each of our teens to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus every day, through personal devotion time, through our weekly gatherings, events, retreats, and mission experiences!

Gospel-Driven Service: 

Jesus came not to be served, but to serve, and that’s the call on our lives as well. PVBC teens will be given many opportunities throughout the year to make a Kingdom impact both locally and globally.
